This stainless steel valved cat-back exhaust system is engineered for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 ZR1 to deliver an aggressive, high-RPM exhaust note while maintaining full control through the factory exhaust sound settings. Under performance driving, the system produces a sharp, race-inspired tone, while factory modes allow the exhaust to remain subdued during normal operation.
The system integrates directly with the OEM electronic exhaust valve actuators and installs as a fully plug-and-play solution. All factory drive modes, including Z-Mode, are retained, with no fault codes. The exhaust valves are sourced from Helical Limited (UK) and are designed for reliable operation under high-temperature conditions.
Development began with a complete 3D scan of the factory exhaust system using a Creaform Handyscan 700, allowing the exhaust to be digitally modeled and engineered to OEM fitment standards. Extensive sound development and dyno testing resulted in the use of a cast X-pipe to connect both cylinder banks, improving exhaust scavenging and reducing unwanted resonance.
The system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel, with valves mounted to CNC-machined plates designed to withstand extreme heat and maintain electronic reliability. High-temperature thermal wrapping is applied to help reduce engine bay temperatures.
