These high-flow sport racing catalytic converters are engineered for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 ZR1 to reduce exhaust restriction and improve overall exhaust flow while maintaining emissions compliance. The system uses dual 200-cell HJS EMITEC tri-metallic catalysts, each rated to support up to 1200 horsepower, delivering approximately 90–92% of straight-pipe flow to significantly reduce backpressure.
Constructed from T304L stainless steel with laser-cut components and back-purged TIG welding, the system improves turbo response and throttle sensitivity while producing a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone. Compared to factory catalytic converters, the design reduces weight by approximately 20 lbs (9.1 kg) while remaining EPA compliant, European homologated, and TÜV approved.
